Sony Ericsson has finally announced the XPERIA X1 will be launched on 30 Septmeber. The phone was previously expected to be released in late 2008 so its great news for all Sony Ericsson fans out there. For those who do not know much about this phone let me tell you that your phone which a horizontal slider is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Opearting system that also makes the first Sony Ericsson phone with Windows Mobile.
The phone has touch screen * * three inches with a QWERTY keyboard, the good thing is its touch screen that slides in an arc. This is something new!
Ok this phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera and records video at 640 x 480 resolution in VGA quality at 30 frames per second, so cool. It has also achieved a front facing camera for video conferencing.
This phone has almost all the connectivity options you might think:
Mini-USB, Wireless LAN 802.11b / g, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, FTP, and HID, EDGE and quadband GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA and HSCSD
It has 400 MB of internal memory that can be extended up to 16 GB using microSD cards.
